4Cookies and tracking

This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other sites. That's why you won't see a cookie banner. If we add analytics in future, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

5Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers who process information on our behalf and only as we instruct:

  • Web3Forms: delivers messages from our enquiry form to our inbox.
  • Our website host: serves this website and, like all web hosts, keeps short-term technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security.
  • Our email provider: stores the emails we send and receive.

When we deliver your event, we may share the details needed with crew or suppliers working on it. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Some of these providers may store data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards UK data protection law requires, such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.

6How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don't lead to a booking: up to 2 years, so we can pick up where we left off if you come back to us.
  • Client and financial records: 6 years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as UK tax law requires.

After that, we securely delete or anonymise it.

7How we protect it

This website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Access to our inbox and records is limited to the people who need it and protected by strong passwords.

8Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
  • ask us to correct anything that's wrong
  • ask us to delete your information
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, how we use it
  • ask us to transfer it to you or another organisation

To use any of these rights, email info@acoustiks.co.uk. We'll respond within one month.

9Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
